We will remember the Warsaw Home&Contract 2021 fair for a long time to come. Four days full of the best design, fantastic people and... hard work :) After a two-year break due to the pandemic, I think we all felt a longing for face-to-face meetings (even hidden behind a mask ;)) and conversation without the mediation of any technology. The crowds that showed up at the WH event are the best proof of this. This year's fair was special for us. All proceeds from the sale of lamps from the exhibition go to the account of Jasio the Hero on Siepomaga.pl. Therefore, if you missed Warsaw Home&Contract or want to revisit those wonderful four days, read and see our photo report :) You can also buy models we haven't sold yet until November 14 and still support the collection.

For our team, the fair had already started a few months earlier. During this time we were accompanied by constant uncertainty whether the event would not be thwarted by another wave of coronavirus. The event was not without surprises in our studio. The streaks visible on the large lampshades prepared for display were not the result of a defect. Our manufacturer just happened to run out of a batch of milky spheres, so we used transparent ones of the same color and strength. The filament in the lampshade created a beautiful play of shadows, so there is no such thing as a defect ;)

We set off for Warsaw just a few days before the official start to build our booth. Hours of hard work paid off - a huge number of visitors said that we had the nicest display in the lighting department. This year we presented as many as 95 UMMO lamps, including several new collections: TORNI, FURIKO, FUPPU and TABLO. The light of day also saw some of our most popular models in a refreshed version - in deep maroon.

The reception exceeded our wildest expectations. We handed out more than 1,000 catalogs, heard hundreds of warm words, exchanged dozens of business cards. Some of the visitors were surprised to learn that we are a Polish, not an Italian brand. There were so many people eager to buy some of the lamp models on display that we had to create a queue in case someone cancelled their reservation. Our booth was visited by, among others, Tomasz Pągowski, the Elle Decoration Poland team, Ann.Living and many prominent architects and interior stylists. It was fantastic to see our industry friends and clients. Nevertheless, it was gratifying to make new contacts, not only business ones :) We hope that many of them will result in a number of excellent collaborations and beautifully lit interiors.

Most importantly, thanks to your help, we added a significant amount to the collection for Jasio the Hero. Now the boy will be able to go to Bangkok for a stem cell transplant, and will also undergo hip surgery. The goal has been reached more than 100%, and this is not the end of the collection. Johnny's family has many more expenses, so we have extended the campaign, in which we sell models from the exhibition at the fair, and all proceeds go to Little Hero. You can still buy all the lamps from our booth until November 14, 2021 with a 30% discount, thus supporting Jas and his parents. The boy's mother sent us a message that caused even more warmth in our hearts than all the compliments heard at the fair:

What did we deserve for such a beautiful gesture ❤❤❤ We'll still be thanking you ❤ It looks like we'll also be able to finance this year a specialized chair for working with Jas at the Cyber Eye which has been in our home since October. We are touched ❤

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth at Warsaw Home&Contract, and especially those who supported the collection. You brought light not only into your homes, but also into the lives of Johnny and his parents :) A big thank you also goes to Tom Milewczyk for documenting our booth so wonderfully. You guys are wonderful!
